The parish wishes to honor all the parish students who are graduating from high school or college this spring. Our high school seniors will be honored at the 8:00 Mass and a breakfast immediately following that Mass. We share in the pride their families feel for them. We congratulate them on their achievement. We promise them our prayers for success in all the upcoming adventures of their lives. May God bless you!

The parish offers congratulations to the winner of the parish's Maureen Brennan Scholarship, Jacob Henden, son of Philip and Jacinta Henden and the PCCW Scholarship winner, Krista Matheys, daughter of Dave and Kris Matheys.

The "Catholicism" study series continues with session 8 on Monday, 21 May, at 7:30 p.m. in the Atrium. All parish members are welcome and you need not have attended previous sessions to participate.

The Book Club will meet on Tuesday, May 22, at 6:30 in the Atrium to discuss POPULATION 485 by Michael Perry. This story takes place in New Auburn, WI and tells the story of this small town through the eyes of an EMT as part of the volunteer fire and rescue department. Please join us.

The Joseph Club thanks the parish for the generous response to the Mother's Day Breakfast last Sunday and looks forward to a great turnout next year.

Special thanks to the PCCW for the wonderful Marian Banquet last Wednesday evening. Everything was delicious! Thanks so much.

The Joseph Club will have a very important meeting on May 24 at 5:30 p.m. in Marian Hall. Plans must be finalized for the Annual Parish Picnic to be held on June 10 and the Joseph Club Chicken-Q fund-raiser to be held on June 30. We need to get a count of the number of tickets already sold for the Chicken-Q. Men of the parish – please join us to ensure that we make these events a great success. If you are unable to attend the meeting, please email Brent Nedland at bnedland@hotmail.com and let him know how many tickets have been sold.

This weekend, Samuel Obadiah Fouts will be welcomed into the Christian Community through the Sacrament of Baptism. Samuel Obadiah is the son of Deja Fouts and Joann (Martin) Fouts.

Dishes in the Atrium: Please pick up any dishes you may have left here in the Atrium by 27 May. Any dishes left after that date will be donated to the local thrift shop. Thank you!

The Joseph Club will sponsor the Annual Parish Picnic on Sunday, June 10 at Eckhart Park. More details will be forthcoming in the next two weeks. They will also host a Chicken-Q (carry-outs only) on Saturday, June 30th from 3-7 pm. The meals will be catered by Pogy's and the menu includes ½ chicken, potato salad, beans and a roll. Early bird ticket sales for the Chicken-Q will be sold for $7.00 each in the Atrium from Saturday, May 7 until Sunday, June 10; the price will increase to $8.00 on June 11. Delivery service to shut-ins will be available. Mark your calendar now to get out and support the Joseph Club!

Do you know someone who is heading off to college this fall? Would you like to help them connect with people of faith when they get there? A new website of the Catholic Campus Ministers of Wisconsin can help. At www.goingtocollege.org, your students coming to campus can sign up to receive information about campus ministry at their prospective Wisconsin schools, as well as an invitation to get involved. The college years can be an important time for faith development. Don’t miss out on the opportunities to meet great people and experience the prayer, service, and social events that campus ministry offers. If you know someone going to college, make sure they visit www.goingtocollege.org !
